Unwind with Councilwoman Juanita Johnson – A Space for Connection & Progress

A stronger collective is the key to unlocking economic growth and expansion in District 2. When we unite as a community, we amplify our voices, empower local businesses, and create opportunities that uplift everyone. Progress isn’t a solo journey—it takes all of us working together to revitalize, invest, and build a thriving future.

That’s why I invite you to "Unwind with Councilwoman Juanita Johnson"—a space to connect, reflect, and move District 2 forward! Join us every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month, starting February 26th, for an evening of meaningful dialogue, relaxation, and action-driven discussion about the future of our community.

Why Attend?

This isn’t just another meeting—it’s your chance to be heard, engage in real conversations, and be part of the movement for change. We’ll discuss the issues that matter most while building relationships that strengthen and empower our district.

I’ve dedicated my time on the Omaha City Council to driving real progress through my Four Pillars of Progress:

Establishing Neighborhood Associations – Ensuring residents have a voice in shaping our community’s future.

Certifying Entrepreneurs & Minority Contractors – Expanding access to resources so every business has a fair shot at success.

Career Employment Training & Trades – Preparing our workforce with the tools needed for high-paying, fulfilling careers.

Homeownership Education – Empowering families with knowledge to build generational wealth.

We have made significant strides, but there’s more work to be done. Together, we can make sure District 2 reaches its full potential.

Join the Movement!

Come unwind, release the stress of the day, and let’s discuss how we can continue to uplift and revitalize our neighborhoods.

Your voice matters. Your ideas matter. Let’s shape the future of District 2—together.

Every 2nd & 4th Wednesday | Starting Feb. 26th

Location: "Scooter's Coffee" 2928 Ames Ave, Omaha, NE 68111
